2008-2009 CARE PROGRAM POLICIES

1. TUITION: Tuition per non-dance class is $200 plus a $20 non-refundable registration fee per child (not per class). In addition, the MATERIALS FEES are non-refundable once classes have begun (no exceptions). Registration Fees and Materials fees must be paid in full at registration.

2. PAYMENT OPTION: Tuition is $200 per non-dance class; $225 per dance class. There will no longer be an option of a discounted tuition payment plan. There is available, however, an installment payment plan for which tuition of $200 or $225 may be paid in two installments. This installment plan is only available for any registrations made on the public registration nights in June. The installment plan requires a first payment per non-dance class of $100 or dance class of $125 plus registration fee and any applicable material fees at the time of registration. The second payment of $100 per class will be due by September 15th. If you do not pay the second installment by September 29th and do not request a written refund by this date, your child will lose their space in the class that he/she is registered for and lose the initial $100 or $125 first payment. Your child’s space will be offered to the next child on the waitlist for that particular class. Please keep in mind that CARE will make every effort to make reminder phone calls if they do not receive payment by September 15th for you registered. We will keep accurate records of the date and time that the reminder telephone call was made to notify you that your 2nd installment payment is past due and remind you of our payment policy and/or refund policy if we do not receive payment in a timely fashion. If entering class after October, tuition will be pro-rated on the full tuition of $200 per non-dance class or $225 per dance class based on number of classes missed in accordance with the CARE Calendar.

3. WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS: Pro-rated refunds of class tuition only will be given if a student withdraws on or before November 1st. If you are withdraw your child from a class on or before November 1st, you must do the following: Contact the CARE Coordinator via the CARE phone line pertaining to the school the class is being held and leave a message on the CARE phone line to advise that you are withdrawing your child from the class on or before November 1st. To receive your refund, you must submit written notification of the withdrawal and request for a refund to CARE to the PO Box listed above by November 10th(your envelope must be postmarked on or before November 10th.) No refund request shall be granted if it is postmarked after November 10th. Students withdrawing after November 1st, will not receive a refund. If a student enrolls in a class mid-year, a pro-rated refund will not be available after two consecutive classes held, not two consecutive classes your child attends. Also if your child enrolls mid-year and you wish to receive a refund, you must follow the guidelines outlined above. If CARE cancels a class for any reason prior to the start date, a full refund will be given.

4. DANCE CLASSES – Tuition per class is $225 plus a $20 non refundable registration fee per child (not per class). The CARE program will schedule approximately 30 45-minute classes’ dance classes, if not more since all dance classes are extended until the week of the recital, if the calendar allows. CARE will make every effort to provide for at least 28 45-minute classes. You will not be able to enroll in a Dance Class after December 10th, due to preparation for the recital.
